Design and engineering
Engineered by the team that builds it.
Our engineers design every plant in-house, so the drawings, the yield and the budget all come from the people who will deliver the project.
What our engineers deliver
From the first survey to the as-built drawings.
- Site survey and solar resource assessment: irradiation data, shading analysis and, where available, a drone survey
- System sizing and layout: module and inverter selection, string design, row spacing, tilt and orientation
- Energy yield simulation with performance ratio and losses, so you know what the plant will produce
- Electrical design: single-line diagrams, DC and AC cable sizing, protection coordination, earthing and lightning protection
- Structural design of mounting systems: wind and snow loads, foundations and roof checks
- Grid connection studies and the documents for the utility application
- Battery storage sizing for hybrid and off-grid systems
- Bill of materials, drawings for construction and as-built drawings at handover
Why it matters
Design decisions decide the return.
Module choice, string design, cable sizes and row spacing decide how much energy a plant produces for 25 years and more. Because our engineers also prepare the feasibility study and stay with the project through construction, the design is made to be built and to perform, not just to be approved.
Know your return before you invest.
Send us your electricity bills and your site location. Our engineers prepare a feasibility and commercial study for your project.
